The Edwardian decoration of the Minneapolis club contrasts with the looming Metropolis-inspired Campbell Mithun building, while the neurotic tensions that gave rise to both styles is soothed and sublimated by the spire of St. Olaf church.

Dramatic downtown vista from the skyway
