The shoreline of emptyness
Coming out of the long long long feeder skyway from the Crossings, this is the first glimpse you see of commercial activity, a transitional zone between the skyway-only and the skyway-plus. The skyway-only is fine for the purposeful walker. It is something of a chore for the explorer
There are 8 miles of skyway used by tens of thousands of people a day. There is a horizontal grandeur here, and a lesson in self-organization for those who wonder what the public/private partnerships of the future look and work like. If you see me wandering around, say Hi. I might take your picture.
